Class Description: This stunning quilt has foundation pieced lily starbursts surrounded by a strip of pieced broken star. Techniques include foundation piecing using the freezer paper method, perfect points, Y seams. 90" square

Skill level: Intermediate to Advanced

Pattern/Kit Fee:  This pattern must be pre-ordered from lockwoodquilts.com with plenty of time before class- Pattern #108 Celestial Gardens There will also be a $2 fee for instruction copies.

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Fabric:
basic sewing kit, machine, rotary cutter, ruler, mat
Star: 36 fat qtrs.
Lilys: 23 fat quarters
Leaves & Stems: 5 fat quarters or ½ yd. of assorted green
Background: 6 yd of light color
Outer border: 3 yd.
Binding: use leftover fabric
Backing: 6 yd.
