Instructor bio:

I began sewing at the age of 7, however, I didn't find quilting until 1999. I taught myself the basics before I knew anything about quilting guilds, quilt shops or classes/retreats. I began by looking for help online and I found online fabrics swaps and block swaps. I was hooked! I attended my first quilt retreat in 2005 and fell in love with the quilting community. In 2008, I opened Main Street Quilt Cottage with 2 of my best friends and in 2016, I became a partner in Quilty Friends Retreats where we say, "We bring quilty friends together, one retreat at a time." My tastes in quilting have changed from time to time over the years. I love traditional patterns as well as modern. My usual go to fabrics are bright and cheerful. You might say I'm a little addicted to quilting! 🙂
