Class Description: Looking to create a bold, modern quilt with a twist? The Blue Giant denim quilt is all about turning old materials into a modern masterpiece with a giant star made from upcycled denim, this pattern is designed to make a statement! You will learn to sew accurate offset seams with tips and tricks to make it fun. FYI- last year’s class had 9 people leave at the end of class with a completed quilt top!

**No need to bring sewing machine. Dave's Bernina will be providing sewing machines, feet, bobbin, straight stitch plate, and needles.

Project size: 66"x88" king-size quilt

When: Friday, June 12 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Skill level: Intermediate

Pattern/Kit Fee: Pattern from www.stitchandyarn.com (Print out and bring to class)

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Receive 20% off towards Supplies at Dave's Bernina
Quilt pieces cut out (at least for 1 of 4 giant squares) but better if you have cut it out and marked
Aurifl cotton piecing thread
Pins or clips
Marking pen/chalk
Best Press or other starch product
Scissors
BSK (basic sewing kit)
Travel ironing station
Travel cutting station
