Class Description: Learn the skills of art quilting. You will amaze yourself at how easy it is to create this gorgeous art quilt of a hummingbird flitting over prickly pear cacti.  Receive instruction on a parchment paper collaging technique and how to use freezer paper templates.  Pre-assembled super kit contains all needed fabrics, a stretched art canvas for mounting, and a copy of my book, Art Quilts Made Easy. Prepare to have fun, and it IS so much easier than it looks!

Large glue stick; e.g.,Craft Bond Extra Strength and Tacky glue
Scissors – small and sharp for fussy cutting & paper scissors
Tweezers
Rotary mat and cutter
Sewing gloves, optional
Erasable marker; e.g., Pilot Ball Frixion
Sewline ceremic chalk pencil or silver pen.
Fine-tip black marker & Derwent Inkense Baked Earth pencil (or borrow mine)

Dk. rose
Lt. gray; e.g., Gut. 102
Black & White
Charcoal; e.g., Gut. 115
Yellow; e.g., Gut. 807
Greens; e.g., Gut. Dk.lime 716, Gut. Lt. lime 704, Gut. Lt.olive 774
I used Gray and Green bobbin threads
