Class Description: Sleepover time! For our intermediate class we will be making a pillow bed. It’s perfect for sleepovers, lounging around and reading, or just watching a show. Along with the pillow bed we will be making a pillow with your name appliquéd on it. Such a cute small pillow that’s personalized just for you! Dave's Bernina will be providing machines, feet, and needles.
Must be 8 to 16 years old. No adults, please.
When:
Wednesday 2-5
Thursday 8:30-11:30
Friday 8:30-11:30
*This class is three days— your child needs to attend all three to complete the projects*
Pattern/Kit Fee: $46—everything is included, except for the pillows for pillow bed. Pillow form for applique is included.
Supplies/Fabric Requirements: All you need to bring is your cute self and smiling face!
Further instructions regarding fabric selection will be emailed after registration.
Instructor bio:
My name is Ashley Smith and I have been teaching kids camp here at Panguitch for several years now and I love it! A little about myself…I am married and have two little boys! My parents own Dave’s Bernina, so I’ve been in the sewing world for a long time now. When I was little, I used to take the kids’ camps at Bernina, and I loved it! Then when I was about 15, I started teaching them. It’s so much fun to teach these sweet kids how to sew. It’s something I truly enjoy! I love sewing so much and I love sharing my passion with others.
