Instructor bio:
I have been sewing and quilting since I was 9. I learned from my mother as well as 4H and home economics teachers. I grew up in Grantsville, Utah, and after living in various cities in Utah my hubby and I decided to retire and settle in a small town. In March of 2022, we moved to Mount Pleasant, Utah. I learned to hand quilt from my mom and her friends as they would sit at a quilting frame and quilt. Eventually I taught myself machine quilting on my domestic machine and later learned quilting with rulers. If I am not sewing or quilting, you will find me in my garden, spending time with my family, cooking, and baking. I also love camping and being out on the ATV exploring. I have won awards for my sewing and quilting and am very passionate about what I do. I want to share my passion and excitement with you.
