Class Description: Join these adorable ladybugs for a party in a vibrant flower garden! This cheerful quilt project features the EasyPiecing Grid and raw-edge applique techniques, perfect for quilters of all skill levels.

When: Thursday, June 11 - 2:00 to 5:00 pm

Skill level: Beginner

Pattern/Kit Fee: $35 includes EasyPiecing Grid, pattern, and instructions. Fabric kits are available for purchase. Kit details and an ordering link will be included with your class preparation instructions. Please order early so you have time to receive your kit and complete your prep before class.

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Fabric requirements will be sent separately with cut list instructions and the appilque patterns.

Fusible Web (like Wonder Under)

Sewing Machine Feet: 1/4" piecing foot, basic sewing and cutting supplies, 6-8 washable Elmer’s glue sticks or Sewline glue pen, small iron and pressing surface,  applique pressing sheet (like a Teflon pressing sheet)

Further instructions regarding class preparation will be emailed by your instructor after registration. 

Instructor bio:

My name is Maria Warnick, the proud owner and operator of Determine Your Happiness Sewing Co. As a mother of six and grandmother of six, I call Pleasant Grove, Utah, my home. With over 40 years of sewing experience and a degree in custom sewing and design, my passion for sewing runs deep. I spent eight years co-teaching beginning sewing at my children’s school and have enjoyed teaching at my local quilting shop for the past three years.

Teaching is my true passion, especially when it comes to EasyPiecing Grid and appliqué. EasyPiecing is an innovative product designed to help you create beautiful grid quilts—think mosaics, Around the World patterns, wall hangings, table runners, and even pixel picture projects. What is EasyPiecing Grid? It’s foundation panels with printed grid lines, available in 2", 1.5", 1", and 1/2" finished grid panels. I also love appliqué, and combining the two techniques has led to some truly unique quilt designs. Join me and discover how fun and quick EasyPiecing Grid Quilting can be!
