Class Description: You’ll receive many compliments with this beautiful bag made with log cabin blocks accented by wool flowers. Techniques include perfect piecing, and wool applique

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Supplies needed:
  Machine, basic sewing kit, rotary cutter, small mat, ruler, sharp scissors, size 22 or 24  needle

Fabric Requirements
Not included in kit
Bottom, top, and handles:  ⅓ yd.
Lining and pockets:   ¾ yd.
Heavy-weight Iron-on Interfacing:  1 ⅔ yd.    

If not purchasing a kit, you will need:
Assorted darks:  equaling ¼ yd
Assorted lights:  equaling ¼ yd 
Centers:  1”x 13”
2 different lights:  5” x 10” each
Batting:  2 - 10” x 20” 
Lightweight fusible
Thread: perle cotton or embroidery floss to match wool
Backing: 2 -  12” x 21” 

Wool:
navy: 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
red:  3" x 6"
green:  5" x 10"
gold:  1 1/2" x 5"
purple:  1 1/2" x 3"

Instructor bio:

My love of quilting began as a child while napping on my grandmother’s quilts. I live in Parowan, Utah and have been quilting for over twenty-five years, and teaching for seven years. I love to learn new techniques and create my own designs.
