Sick of paying someone to quilt your quilts for you? Do you ever see a quilt and think to yourself I could have done that, but just weren’t sure how to start? In this class you will gain confidence to QUILT YOUR OWN QUILTS using your domestic machine. Learn to let go of perfection by using Christa Watson’s method of asymmetrical textures that require little to no marking of the quilt. We will practice on pre-basted fabric and batting samples. We will be providing the B770 sewing machines for this class. So, relax and don’t stress about bringing yours. We got you covered.
Beginners to intermediate
Machine Quilting with Style by Christa Watson
15 practice quilt sandwiches consisting of two large squares of solid or tonal colored fabric with batting in between; I recommend at least 10” for the top square and 11” for the batting and bottom square of each sandwich. Do NOT stitch around the edges of your sample. Spray baste your fabric sandwiches with 505 spray. You can use any fabric for this as it is just practice, but know you want to see the quilting.
