Class Description
A beautiful wool beehive with bees buzzing, sunflowers, a bluebird, and cherries, remind us of summer's bounty. Learn to work with wool and a few fun stitches in this relaxing type of handwork.

Supplies/Fabric Requirements
20" x 24" linen background
8" x 8" green wool for leaves (I used scraps of 3 different greens)
6"x 9" gold wool for sunflowers, petals, and bird's beak (I used 3 different golds)
6.5" x 8" gray herringbone wool for vase
2.5" x 3" dark gray wool for vase decorations
6" x 7.5" golden brown wool for bees keep
2.5" x 2.5" dark brown check wool for bees keep door
1.5" x 2.5" rectangle each of 3 different reds for berries
2" X 5" black tweed wool for sunflower centers
4" x 6" blue wool for bird
1.5" x 4" blue plaid wool for birds wing
1" x 2" yellow wool for bees
20" x 24" shape flex for stabilizing back of linen
freezer paper
pencil
paper
wool scissors
floss to match wool (Valdoni, DMC, pearl cotton, what every you like!)
travel iron
crewel embroidery needles
