Class Description

The Berkley Bag is the newest pattern release from pattern and fabric designer Amy Hamberlin of Kati Cupcake. If you have had the opportunity to make any of her other bag patterns you know how well her patterns are written with easy step by step instructions including pictures. The Berkley Bag makes a perfect everyday hand bag or office, sewing bag. Lots of inside pockets to keep your bag organized and tidy. Dimensions: 11 inches tall, 12 1/2 inches wide, 4 inches deep

Supplies/Fabric Requirements

7/8 yard outside main and lining main

1/2 yard outside pockets

2/3 yard inside pockets

2/3 yard outside accents (corners and top rounded bib)

1/3 yard straps

Fabric requirements are based on 44-45” wide cotton and do not consider direction of fabric print.

Stabilizers:

3/4 yard Pellon 987F Fusible Fleece

1 1/3 yard Pellon 809 Decor Bond, interior and exterior pockets

1 pkg 18” x 58” Annie’s Soft n Stable or Bosal sew in foam

Additional supplies:

Magnetic snap

Disappearing marker

Thread to match

Walking foot highly recommended

Heavy heat needle
