Album blocks were quite popular in the 1800s. The light centers of the blocks were a place to gather signatures. In this scrappy version, the blocks interlock with splashes of red that form pinwheels. A remembrance quilt that tells a beautiful story.

1 1/3 yards muslin for blocks
1 1/8 yards total assorted scraps of dark prints for blocks
5/8 yard total assorted scraps of light prints for blocks
1/2 yard total assorted scraps of red prints for Pinwheel blocks
3/8 yard of dark blue print for binding
1 5/8 yards backing fabric
1 1/3 yards muslin for blocks
1 1/8 yards total assorted scraps of dark prints for blocks
