Class Description
This old-time block is one which is well adapted to today's fabrics and colors giving it a chance to make your own fabric collections vibrate with excitement. And it is easy, easy to make. There are several ways the blocks can be set together giving a new look each time. This block may look like it would be difficult to put together, but you'll be so delighted with how easily it goes together. Make something striking and original or make a fast and sweet baby quilt in no time!

Supplies/Fabric Requirements
Each block is made from two pieces of fabric—a focus fabric and a background. I’ve made the blocks using 5” charm squares, layer cake 10” squares and 8” squares. The charm squares make a 4-1/2” block; the layer cake squares make a 12” block; the 8” squares make a 9” block. If you choose to use charms or layer cakes, I would strongly advise you to cut the appropriate size squares for your backgrounds rather than use squares with the pinked edges. These pre-cuts are notorious for not being extremely accurate and it is so hard (I think) to line up two squares with pinked edges.
