Learn how to create half-square and quarter-square triangles any size to design your own quilt. This will focus on a quilt using a carpenter's star medallion and designing your own blocks around it. Techniques include piecing, perfect points, design, and lots of ideas and tips, with bonus patterns. 72" x 83"

Supplies/Fabric Requirements
8 fat quarters of 2 different colors (4 prints of each color) for center star If you want more color, add an additional fat quarter for each color desired. I used a precut layer cake for lots of additional color
1 1/2 yard inner border and binding
2 1/4 yard outer border

Instructor Bio:
My love of quilting began as a young child, while lying on my grandmother's quilt, and imagining that I owned a fabric shop. I have been quilting for over twenty years and have been teaching for five. Learning new techniques, hand quilting, hand applique, and a project with a challenge are my favorites. I grew up in colorful Colorado and have now lived in Parowan, Utah for the past seventeen years.
