Class Description
As much fun as it is to explore new towns, the fact remains that nothing feels as good as your hometown. This quilt is a traditionally pieced quilt that focuses on the beauty of the flowers and the cute houses in my hometown.

Supplies/Fabric Requirements

Hometown Pattern by Thimble Blossoms/Camille Roskelley
6 fat quarters- 2 medium blue for the houses, 3 gray (roofs), 1 pink/red stripe (doors)
11 fat eighths- 5 green (leaves), 1 light blue (houses), 5 pink/red (flowers)
1 yard white fabric for houses (tone on tone)
3 ½ yards navy background fabric
1 ½ yards border fabric
¾ yard binding fabric
5 yards 44” wide backing fabric or 2 ¼ yards 108”

Basic Sewing Supplies such as scissors, pins, small iron/pad, rotary

cutter, mat, etc.

We will provide Bernina machines, foot, Needle, bobbin with Aurifil thread

Instructor Bio:

Tracy Lovejoy is the proud mom of 3 amazing adult kids, one angel son and has been married to her high school "prince charming" for almost 40 years. She moved to St. George, Utah 14 years ago and decided it was the perfect time to develop a new hobby. She bought her first Bernina at that time and has been addicted to quilting ever since. Her quilting journey has progressed to the point that she has been teaching machine embroidery, applique, traditional piecing and machine owner education classes at Dave's Bernina in St. George for the last 4 years. She also enjoys making things for her 10 grandkids who are the love of her life. When not sewing, she is an avid fan of most sports. Her favorite teams to follow are BYU and the Kansas City Chiefs.
