Compass Star is a modern twist on a traditional star quilt pattern. This is a block based quilt pattern that uses fat eighths, fat quarters or even quarter yards. Mix and match fabrics to create clean and modern stars using solids or prints- both are beautiful!

Please purchase either the paper or digital pattern from the link above before class. The cutting instructions in the pattern are fantastic and very detailed and will help you to have all your pieces cut prior to coming to class.

Ashley Bryan is a wife and working mom of 5, and with that being the case, most of her time is spent chasing her children. In her spare time, she designs and sews tactical gear for military and first responders. She also designs and puts together quilt kits for the local quilt shop where she works on her days off, as well as teaching beginning quilting classes on the weekends. One day she hopes to own her own shop and have more time to sew up her designs. She enjoys camping, fishing with her family, and a good spa day.
