Class Description
So soft, subtle and unique. come learn some great piecing techniques, half square triangles, Petal blocks and testing out your color arranging skills. You just can't go wrong with Lella and ME. We are providing machines.

Finished Quilt 66 ½” x 66 ½”

Finished Block 12” x 12”

24 Fat Eights -OR- 12 Fat Quarters for Blocks

2-1/8” White Fabric

¼ yard or 1 fat quarter for pinwheel centers

2-1/8” Sashing/border fabric

5/8” yard binding fabric

4 ¼” yards for backing (not needed for class)

75” x 75” Batting (not needed for class)

Accessories needed:

Pattern (can purchase pattern and any notions from Dave’s Bernina with a 20% discount. Fabric discount at 10%.)

Alphabetties for marking fabrics

Cream colored Aurifil or metrosene thread

3 ½” ruler

12 ½” ruler for squaring up

Ironing station, Iron and best press

Basic sewing Kit

Marking pen

Pins or clips

Rotary cutter and small cutting mat helpful.

We will provide: machines, Bernina foot #37 & or #57, needle and bobbin

Instructor Bio:

I can't even remember when I actually started sewing. As I watched my mother sew everything from clothing to crafts and as I grew up under a quilt being tied by my mother and grandmother, I never questioned that I could do the same. I received my first sewing machine 38 years ago and I haven't stopped sewing for my own kids, grandkids and many others, including a professional porcelain doll maker. I continued to explore with crafting and quilting and found that it is something I have always loved. I moved to St. George where I started working with Dave's Bernina and for the past 7 years I have found how much I really love quilting, appliqueing, embroidering, crafting, and teaching what I love to do. I currently continue to be a part of the Dave's Bernina family and doing what I love most.
