Class Description
Simple, straight-seam construction and easy, super-sized blocks combine to make this dynamic design. The use of value, contrast, and the juxtaposition of angles creates the illusion of curves and movement. Only three block styles and one simple technique is used in the entire quilt. Let's quilt up a storm together!

Fabric Requirements - Picnic size 80" x 80" (Lap quilt 56" x 56" in parentheses):

A. DARK: 1-3/4 yards (7/8 yard)
B. MED-DARK: 1-1/8 yards (3/4 yard)
C. MEDIUM: 1-1/3 yards (5/8 yard)
D. MED-LIGHT Print 1: 1-1/8 yards (3/4 yard)
E. MED-LIGHT Print 2: 1-1/8 yards (3/4 yard)
F. LIGHT: 5/8 yard (1/4 yard)

Note: Prints D and E may be the same print

BINDING: 5/8 yard (1/2 yard),

BACKING: 5-1/2 yards (3-1/2 yard)
