Class Description: Come with me on a quilter’s journey from the log cabin under the stars through the flower patch to watch the flying geese. This class is a real skill builder! Techniques include Applique, Bias, Partial Seams, 8 Point Star, Y Seams, Freezer Paper Foundation, Curved Seams, Log Cabin, and Flying Geese.

Project size: 45" x 60"

When: Thursday, June 11 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Skill level: Intermediate

Pattern/Kit Fee: Pattern $10

Supplies/Fabric:
Supplies: Basic sewing kit, machine, ruler, rotary cutter

Fabric: 

Dark Prints in assorted colors: 15 Fat Eighths  (have a couple of these in greens, yellows, and browns)

Assorted Light Prints: 10 Fat Eighths

Green: 1 Fat Quarter

Yellow: 3 Fat Quarters

Background: 2 yd

Backing: 3 ½ yd

Binding: left over from prints

Instructor bio:

My love of quilting began as a child while napping on my grandmother’s quilts. I live in Parowan, Utah and have been quilting for over twenty-five years, and teaching for ten years. I love to learn new techniques and create my own designs.
