Class Description: This will be the third year in a row teaching this fun and popular class! You will need a sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch, and fun thread. You can make different size baskets, with different endings.

When: Wednesday, June 5 - 2:00 to 5:00 pm

Skill level: Beginner

Pattern/Kit Fee: Kit fee $9.00 - includes rope for one basket.

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Thread in your color choice(s.) Your bobbin thread is what shows on the outside of the basket. I use Superior Threads King Tut variegated thread. You will need between 500-800 yards of thread. Basic sewing kit including pins and scissors.

Instructor bio:

Quilting has been part of my life for more than 50 years.  I've been teaching for 30 years.   My "claim to fame" in the quilt world is that my mother is Blanche Young, who was an internationally known quiltmaker, teacher and author.  I am a co-owner of Quilty Friends Retreats, where we host Winter and Spring quilt retreats at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon, smaller Gatherings, and the Lake Powell Quilt Retreat in Page, Arizona.
