Class Description: Some fat little birds would love to live in your home. You don’t even need to buy birdseed for these sparrows. This 65 x 71” quilt is fat quarter friendly, or you can make it really scrappy and sew your stash.
When: Thursday, June 6 - 8:30 to 11:30 am
Skill level: Beginner
Pattern/Kit Fee: Pattern $10
Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Bird body- 1/2 yard of four fabrics OR eight fat quarters OR scraps on hand,
Beak and tail- 1/2 yard caramel
Eyes-1/16th of black
Half Square triangles- 1/2 yard
Background-3 1/2 yards
Binding- 5/8 yard

Instructor bio:
Hi, my name is Machelle Preston and I live in Spanish Fork, Utah. Recently I lived in Kauai, HawaiI and enjoyed the tropical island and flowers. I have a website where I sell kits, patterns and notions. I design patterns and love teaching others the love of sewing. I learned to sew from my Grandmother and have enjoyed the quilting process for many years.
